I God the Father

We believe and worship the one unchanging sovereign God, the Creator and Lord revealed in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, 26 1 Chronicles 29:11-12 Deuteronomy 6:4 Psalm 90:2 1 Peter 1:2).

II Jesus Christ (Son)

Jesus Christ our Lord is God incarnate, conceived by the Holy Spirit. He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, rose from the dead, sits at the right hand of God the Father as our Advocate, and will judge the living and the dead. (Heb.1:1-3 Mt.1:18-23 Jn.1:1-18 Acts 1:9-11 Acts 2:22-24 1 Cor.15 Revelation 5:9- 14).

III Holy Spirit

He is the third Person of the Trinity, exalts Christ, and convinces us of sin. He dwells in believers from the moment of salvation, comforts them, teaches them, and gives them the strength to live in righteousness. He gives believers spiritual gifts for service in the Church. (Mt. 1:18 Jn. 14:16-17 Jn. 16:7-14 Acts 1:8 1 Cor. 3:16 1 Pt. 4:10).

IV Man

Created in the image of God for His glory, he rules over creation, separated from God by sin until he receives salvation in Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:26 Ps.8:3-6 Acts 17:26-31 Romans 3:10 – 18, 23).

V Salvation

Because all are separated from God by sin and need forgiveness, God offers the gift of salvation. Everyone must personally accept this gift, turn away from sins and (establish a personal relationship) believe in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Ex. 6:2-8 Mt. 16:21-26 Jn. 3:15-16 Jn. 17:3 Rom. 5, 1 Rom. 6:23 Eph. 2:8-9).

VI Eternal security of believers

We believe that our true salvation, prepared by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ, is the only basis of our security. It is indelible and no man or circumstance can snatch us from the almighty hand of God. (John 10:28 2 Tim. 1:12 1 Peter 1:4 Heb. 7:25 2 Samuel 23:5 John 3:36 John 5:24 John 14:6).

VII Holy Bible

It is the flawless, inspired Word of God, revealing God and His will for man. He is the only authority for Christian life. (Deut.4:1-2 Ps.12:6 Ps.19:7-10 Ps.119,105,160 Heb.4:12 2Ti.3:16 2Pt.1:20-21).

VIII Priesthood of believers

Every believer is a servant and has access to God through the high priest Jesus Christ. (Heb.4:14-16 Heb.10:19-22 Eph.3:7).

IX Church

Jesus Christ is the head of his body – the Church. The body of Christ is made up of believers. The purpose of the church is to fulfill the mission of Christ in the world, leading a God-fearing life by creating independent communities (autonomous, independent of any authority other than the local one). (Mt. 16:15-19 Acts 2:41-42 Rom. 12:4-8 Eph. 4:10-16 1 Cor. 12 Rev. 2 and 3).

X Baptism and Supper

Baptism by immersion follows the example of Christ, it is a symbol of death, burial and resurrection to new life in Christ. It is a testimony of faith after being invited into the life of Christ as Savior and Lord. The Supper is an act of obedience and a testimony of faith. It is a symbol of Jesus' death. Reconciliation with God through confession of sins should precede the believer's participation in this memorial. (Mt. 3:13-17 Mt. 26:26-30 Acts 16:30-33 Rom. 6:3-5 Col. 2:12).

XI Church Leadership

God calls people who meet the biblical requirements to the positions of pastor (priest/elder) and deacon to lead the Church community. Leaders are called by God to maintain purity of doctrine and lead lives worthy of respect. The Church community (Zbór) is called to submit to their authority. (Phil. 1:1 1 Tim. 3 Acts 6:1-8 Acts 20:28 1 Tim. 5:17-22 Heb. 17:7, 17 Titus 1:5-9).

XII Ecclesiastical discipline

We believe that the Bible teaches discipline. God disciplines those he loves (Heb. 12). He uses church leaders to correct and discipline believers (Gal. 6:1) according to the Scriptures (Mt. 18:15-18 1 Cor. 5:1). -13) Discipline is exercised with the hope of restoring those who have fallen into sin into a right relationship with God and the Church community. (Gal. 6:1 Heb. 12 Mt. 18:15-18 1 Cor. 5:1-13).
